Billings, MT – The 1776 Foundation announced today that its Free Constitution Project the group distributed 4,171 free copies of the Montana Constitution to parents, educators, concerned citizens and elected officials across the state.
“This a very exciting response to an outstanding project,” said Jake Eaton, 1776 Foundation board chairman. “We launched this program because we believe that a firm understanding of our state’s constitution is an essential tool for good citizenship and to see the level of interest in the project continue to grow at this rate is truly outstanding.”
Since launching the program in the summer of 2017, the 1776 Foundation has distributed 5,891 free copies of the Montana Constitution.
