Billings, MT – The 1776 Foundation today announced the recipients of its financial grants for the fourth quarter of 2022. The 1776 Foundation launched its grant program during the spring of 2017 to help support like-minded organizations by funding programs that are in line with our mission. The program has provided nearly $80,000 to worthwhile organizations.
Among the organizations that received grants were:
Montana FFA Foundation, Helping Hands Grant Program – “Learning to Serve” is part of the FFA Motto. Keeping in the spirit of their motto the Montana FFA Helping Hands Grant was created to secure funds for FFA community service projects. The Helping Hands Grant allows FFA students to submit their community service projects and receive the funding needed to move forward with their projects.
Veterans Navigation Network – Veteran’s Navigation Network’s mission is to facilitate a smooth transition for our Nation’s Service Members, from military service to civilian life. To do this VNN creates a network that strives to allow Veterans to succeed through job placement, physical and mental health, and linking the other services available, by creating a network of support throughout the community.
PERC-Property and Environment Research Center – PERC is a research institute dedicated to promoting conservation by exploring how voluntary trade can produce positive environmental outcomes. PERC’s current initiatives focus on market approaches to wildlife conservation and improving public lands management.
University of Montana Federalist Society Student Chapter- The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of conservatives and libertarians interested in the current state of the legal order. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities.
