The 1776 Foundation today announced the recipients of its financial grants for the fourth quarter of 2024. The 1776 Foundation launched its grant program during the spring of 2017 to help support like-minded organizations by funding programs that are in line with our mission. The program has provided over $100,000 to worthwhile organizations.
Among the organizations that received grants were:
PERC-Property and Environment Research Center – PERC is a research institute dedicated to promoting conservation by exploring how voluntary trade can produce positive environmental outcomes. PERC’s current initiatives focus on market approaches to wildlife conservation and improving public lands management.
Mountain States Legal Foundation – MSLF focuses on defending constitutional liberties, property rights, and limited government. The organization often represents individuals, businesses, and organizations in cases related to land use, natural resource management, Second Amendment rights, and federal overreach. Through litigation and advocacy, MSLF seeks to uphold individual freedoms and promote the principles of the U.S. Constitution.
The Chase Hawks Memorial Association – A nonprofit organization based in Billings, Montana, dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing crises, particularly in the Western lifestyle and rodeo community. Founded in honor of Chase Hawks, a young cowboy who tragically passed away, the organization provides financial assistance for medical emergencies and other urgent needs.
