Billings, MT – The 1776 Foundation announced today that through its Free Constitution Project the group distributed 19,144 free copies of the Montana Constitution to parents, educators, concerned citizens and elected officials across the state. This total included sending 100 copies to each High School in Montana.

“We launched this program because we believe that a firm understanding of our state’s constitution is an essential tool for good citizenship and to see the level of interest  in the project continue to grow at this rate is truly outstanding,”said Jake Eaton, 1776 Foundation board chairman.

Since launching the program in the summer of 2017, the 1776 Foundation has distributed over 34,000 free copies of the Montana Constitution.
